About Christine
Christine grew up in a creative household with parents that kindled the fire of creativity within her. Her second grade teacher was the first to encourage fine art as a potential path, but it wasn’t until after a degree in fine art from Samford University that she began the process of growing as a solo artist. As an artist she hopes to create artwork that strikes the balance of fun and timeless, in an effortless manner. Composition and color harmony are a distinctive part of her work. Christine's palettes and subject matter are heavily influenced by her upbringing along the east coast. She hopes to bring these costal scenes to life through a new perspective and unexpected moments of color.
Christine has gained a strong understanding of color theory from her background of painting entirely from the three primaries (red, yellow + blue) and white.
She was raised in Jacksonville, FL but currently lives in Nashville, TN with her pup Annie. When she's not in the studio you can find her outside, usually near the water, or tending to her plants.
Christine has been part of many shows including The Harding Art Show, MBA and A Vision for Art. As well as group exhibitions at Shain gallery and the Nashville Artist Collective. She is currently represented by the the Nashville Artist Collective (TN) and Hillary Whitaker Gallery (FL).
